It’s Fall, Y’all!

I can’t believe it’s already fall. It seems that it was just yesterday that we were celebrating the warm weather and long summer nights. Now, the leaves have started to turn and fall, the temperatures have dropped (thank goodness!), and so fall begins.

Although tomorrow is officially the first day of the season, it has felt perfect all week here in Nashville. I’ve really enjoyed taking in the cooler air and sipping on pumpkin spice lattes (thanks, Starbucks!).

While a new season begins here in the city, so does a new list of personal goals. There’s a lot that I want to accomplish and experience in the next few months, and I am so excited to see if I can achieve them all!

Do you have big plans for the fall season?

Love always,
Rosemary

What We Wore: In Downtown Nashville

 Image

We have been working extremely hard the past few months branding our vision and making goals for ourselves. We took a few hours after our meeting on Monday to enjoy the beautiful scenery our city holds. We can’t wait to share with you our little secret! In the meantime, check out a few of our favorite pictures we took on our break in the city.

Boots are a favorite part of our wardrobe for fall. We love that there’s so many ways to wear them!

Bright colors are a fun way to transition your wardrobe from summer into fall. All you have to do is just add a few layers! It’s also fun to pair up old jewelry with new pieces, don’t you think?

Tuesday Tunes: Summer Music Mix

“I realize that I will never fully understand the millions of bizarre ways that music brings people together.”

Putting together this playlist made me reflect on what a huge impact music has had on my life. Hear a song & it can bring me right back to a place & time from my life, like taking a ride in a time machine.

Rosemary & I have some pretty big decisions to ponder over this next week and we are taking some time to reflect and get in tune (no pune intended) with ourselves. If you see me around Nashville, most likely, I will have a coffee in hand, writing in my journal or reading a book. We all do need that special time.

I hope you all get a chance to travel, discover & get back to yourself this summer.  Here’s some music for the most wonderful journey of all….
After all “Every mix tape tells a story. Put them together, and they add up to the story of life.”

On a side note:  The quotes above are from Rob Sheffied’s wonderful book, “Love is a Mixtape.” Pretty please with a cherry on top, read it! So incredible.

Always Love,

Bethany Rose

What We Wore: Happy Birthday, America!

Had a wonderful day celebrating our nation’s birthday. We clothed ourselves from head to toe in the infamous red, white, and blue colors.

Hope you enjoy!

What We Wore: Springtime In the City

Recently, we spent another absolutely gorgeous afternoon here in Music City with a good friend of ours, Steph. We thought we’d enjoy some of the springtime air having a good time right on the lawn of the Capitol! Not only did we have a blast, but we ended up with a few fun pictures Steph took, too!

Here’s What We Wore:

Rosemary’s outfit:  blouse from American Rag; bracelet from Forever 21; ring from Pangaea; necklace from Oldmadegood; jeans from Old Navy; shoes from Payless; scarf from Mother’s closet

Bethany’s Outfit:  tanks from Target; skirt, necklace & bracelet all vintage; shoes from Anthropologie

Oh & don’t forget to check out our friend Steph’s photography at http://www.stephburdorff.com

Here’s to many more adventures!
