DIY: Facial Flower Mist

Do It Yourself:  Facial Flower Mist

This is the perfect refresher for the extra hot & humid weather that we’ve been having this summer. It’s a super quick, easy project (20 mins, tops!) & adds nourishment for your skin. Plus, it will also set your make-up & add a fresh dewy look.

All that’s needed is:

Clear packing tape, Scissors, pictures or magazines (cut into strips), a spray bottle (I used a travel one that would easily fit in my purse), & essential oils.

There are so many different types of essential oils that are good for your skin.  I used Rose Absolute with jojoba oil, but you could use tea tree (clarifying), lavender (balancing) , peppermint (cleanse), or sandalwood (anti-bacterial.)

For Spray:

1.  Use purified water to fill up the spray bottle.

2.  Add drops of essential oil (I used 10 drops for a 3 ounce travel size) & shake!

For Decorating the Bottle:

1. Take strips of paper & images that you’ve cut out of the pictures or magazines & place in desired position on bottle.

2.  Wrap clear packing tapes over bottle until all of the images are sealed.  For mine I did several layers of tape.

That’s all it takes to create your own inspired facial mist!

Keep on staying inspired & cool this summer!

Xoxo!
