With travel plans in full swing, we thought we would feature two of our favorite summer travel hairstyles, The Twist & The Gypsy. Super easy to do, these styles will keep you cool in the summer sun while still looking your pretty self.
The Twist
First, grab two small sections at the top of your head (A & B).
Second, cross strand A over strand B.
Third, with strand B add more hair by picking up another small section of hair located underneath strand B.
Forth, cross strand B over strand A.
Fifth, with strand A add more hair by picking up another small section of hair located underneath strand A.
Sixth, Repeat steps two through five until you have reached the opposite nape of the neck.
Repeat on the other side until you reach the nape of the neck. Secure with a hair band to create a pony tail. Take a small section from the pony & loosely wrap around the hair band. Secure with a bobby pin.
Ta-da!
The Gypsy
First, divide hair into two sections & secure with a hair band to create low pigtails.
Second, twist one pony around to create a loose bun. Secure with bobby pins.
Repeat on the other side.
Forth, take your scarf & with the center of the scarf wrap over head, like a head band.
Fifth, wrap around back & tie in a knot at the crown of your head.
Sixth, tuck ends under.
